Great Britain’s Neil Fachie and Elizabeth Jordan have won gold in the Mixed B Team Sprint at the Cycling World Championships 2023. The pair, along with sighted pilots Matthew Rotherham and Amy Cole, beat Italy in a thrilling race.

This is a landmark win for Fachie, who celebrated his 19th track world title and second of these championships. The quartet had only practiced once as a combined four but looked as if they had been working together for years.

The victory is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the team, who have shown that they are a force to be reckoned with on the world stage. Congratulations to Fachie, Jordan, Rotherham, and Cole on their incredible achievement!
