According to recent news reports, Ukraine has reportedly carried out drone attacks inside Russia, damaging two office buildings near the Kremlin and a pig breeding complex on the countries' border.
Although Ukraine has not officially acknowledged the attacks, they reflect a pattern of more frequent cross-border strikes since their counteroffensive against Russian forces in June.
This marks the fourth strike on the capital region this month and the third this week, revealing Russia's vulnerability as the conflict enters its 18th month. The Russian Defense Ministry labeled the incident an "attempted terrorist attack" by Ukraine.
One drone was shot down, and two others crashed in the Moscow City business district.
Pictures and video showed damage to buildings and injuries to a security guard.
Ukrainian officials didn't claim responsibility, but President Zelenskyy stated that the war is naturally returning to Russia's symbolic centers and military bases.
