Emilia Clarke, best known for her role as Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, has broken her silence on her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut. Clarke played the character of G'iah in the Disney+ series Secret Invasion, and she recently told a news outlet that it was "the most amount of fun" she's ever had on set.
G'iah is a Skrull who was raised by Talos, the Skrull leader who appeared in Captain Marvel. In Secret Invasion, G'iah goes on a journey from a follower of Gravik, a Skrull villain, to his biggest adversary. She eventually becomes a fully-fledged superhero with the powers of 22 popular MCU characters.
Clarke said that her favorite part of filming Secret Invasion was the final fight scene, where she got to do some stunts. She also said that she had a lot of fun creating her own take on an iconic superhero pose.
"It was the biggest anticlimactic move," Clarke said with a laugh. "But it was still my best day."
Clarke is not the only Game of Thrones actor to join the MCU. Kit Harington will appear in the upcoming film The Eternals, and Richard Madden will star in the Disney+ series Armor Wars.
It's clear that Clarke is excited about her future in the MCU, and fans are excited to see what she does next.
